These MP3's were recorded during a "rehearsal" for my New CD.
After a few problems with the studio and a decision
to do a CD of all originals, these tracks became unusable. Rather than
leave them on the shelf, I decided to post them here

The Joe Beck & Doug Proper Alto Trio
These MP3's were recorded at one of our gigs. The trio
consisted of Joe on Alto Guitar, Gerry Fitzgerald
on Drums and Me on my 7 String. There is a fair amount of ambient noise from the
club.
If you can get past that it's a fun listen - we had a blast ! Keep checking back
- I'll post more soon !
We did this recording back in 1991 as a demo to get
gigs. The Covington which was a local venue we were playing at the time
actually paid for the recording. We did one session - recorded everything
live with no overdubbing. We did the recording session and the final mix
in less than three hours. Everything on this CD was a first take. If
