One of the greatest pleasures of being a musician has to do with the people you meet in the process of doing what it is you do for a living. Whenever a group of musicians congregate, whether it be on a gig, in the studio, at a rehearsal or during a jam session, the one thing you can count on is hearing many amusing stories and anecdotal accounts of what happened to them on a gig somewhere.
The focus of these columns will be devoted to sharing some of my experiences as well as those that have been told to me, of the bizarre, outrageous, comical, strange, silly, unusual, and sometimes hilarious things that happen in the world of music and to the musicians that live in it.
